Markets Activities Auditor, IG Hub APAC

About the role

The Markets Activities Auditor will join the Inspection Générale (IG) Hub for the APAC region at BNP Paribas. You will conduct audit assignments, assess risks, and ensure that audit recommendations are implemented effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in audit team assignments and special reviews as required by regulators or senior management.
• Plan and prepare audits by understanding methodology, gathering key data, and learning the activities under review.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the scope, strategy, governance, and risks of the assigned activities.
• Identify main risk areas, evaluate management actions, and recommend remediation measures.
• Document findings, produce deliverables, and present conclusions to senior management.
• Monitor implementation of IG recommendations and challenge remediation actions.
• Perform periodic, comprehensive risk assessments of Markets Activities and contribute to audit planning.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting Markets Activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Banking, Economics, Finance, Risk Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Markets Activities, support, or control functions.
• Strong technical background in Markets Activities and outstanding analytical abilities.
• High level of initiative, commitment, and ability to work under pressure.
