Post-doctoral Fellow – Synthetic Chemistry & Chemical Biology

About the role

We are seeking a Post‑doctoral Fellow to join the Laboratory for Synthetic Chemistry and Chemical Biology Limited at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks. The fellow will work on cutting‑edge projects that combine synthetic chemistry with chemical biology to develop new molecular medicines, diagnostics and immunotherapies, primarily targeting cancer.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute synthetic routes for novel compounds.
• Collaborate with biologists to evaluate biological activity and therapeutic potential.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, preparing reports and publications.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and project planning.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
• Strong publication record demonstrating research competence.
• Experience in chemical synthesis is highly desirable.
• Self‑motivated, capable of independent work and effective teamwork.
