Procurement Officer (Fixed‑term, 24 months)

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Officer to manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities for assigned categories and projects. The role involves close collaboration with internal clients to define requirements, source suppliers, negotiate contracts and monitor performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full procurement cycle for designated categories, from requirement gathering to contract award.
• Conduct supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and risk mitigation.
• Provide supply recommendations and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Perform market landscaping and leverage supplier relationships for council benefit.
• Prepare reports, analyses and support ad‑hoc projects as directed by the supervisor.
• Travel to supplier sites for visits and assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Science.
• 1–2 years of relevant procurement or supply‑chain experience.
• High integrity and solid understanding of corporate governance and compliance.
• Proactive, team‑oriented attitude with willingness to learn.
• Good command of English and Chinese; travel flexibility.

Required skills

• SAP Materials Management module.
