Procurement Officer

About the role

The Airport Authority Hong Kong is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage IT services, equipment purchases and general procurement activities. You will act as a key liaison for users, ensure best‑value acquisitions and support the Authority’s operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage IT services and equipment purchases, collaborating with supervisors to secure best value.
• Serve as the primary contact for users, providing timely updates on procurement status.
• Conduct market research, sourcing, and negotiations for general purchases.
• Execute RFQ/tender processes, prepare purchase orders and contract awards in compliance with standards.
• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Provide administrative support, generate reports and manage procurement correspondence records.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned, supporting the procurement team’s objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, IT, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant procurement experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Financial/Procurement) preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Independent organizer, team player with high integrity and accountability.
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua.
