Procurement Specialist – Nansha, China

About the role

Sika Hong Kong is looking for a procurement specialist to support its Nansha Ronacrete factory and the Hong Kong company. The role covers direct-material spend management and key indirect spend (OPEX / CAPEX) under the procurement manager, cost-reduction projects, supplier audits and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all direct-material procurement spend for the Nansha Ronacrete factory and the Hong Kong company
• Under the procurement manager's direction, manage key indirect spend (OPEX / CAPEX)
• Initiate and drive cost-reduction and efficiency projects in direct-material procurement
• Carry out supplier and TFS audits on behalf of the local procurement team
• Ensure procurement policies and processes comply with Sika's internal procurement guidelines
• Take part in specific projects as assigned by the procurement manager
• Prepare reports and analyses and contribute to improvements of systems and processes

Required profile

• Degree in supply chain, business administration, chemical engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain; chemical industry preferred
• Good communication, presentation and reporting skills
• Proactive, able to adapt to market changes and drive project improvement
• Independent work style, open-minded; MNC experience preferred
• Fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese preferred
