Supply Chain Development Regional Manager – APA

About the role

The Supply Chain Development Regional Manager is part of Maersk's Global Supply Chain Development (SCD) function within Maersk Sales & Marketing. Reporting to a regional head of SCD, the role contributes to logistics solution sales wins for Maersk's largest customers (Key Clients, Strategic Clients and Enterprise Clients). It is customer-facing, works closely with account managers to identify, qualify and pitch value propositions, and engages commercial pursuit teams for nominated customers.

Key responsibilities

• Grow supply chain solution sales for specific customer segments, focusing on consultative sales with prioritized SCD portfolio customers, new store acquisition and strategic renewals
• Develop tailored Maersk value propositions based on each customer's supply chain needs and pain points
• Engage internal stakeholders such as account managers, sales leaders and product managers, and external customer stakeholders including the customer's supply chain or logistics head
• Contribute to repeatable frameworks for supply chain solution selling, team toolkits and a global culture of thought leadership and best practice sharing
• Own supply chain development aspects of assigned customer opportunities and capability development workstreams

Required profile

• 10+ years' experience in supply chain management and logistics, preferably in a 3PL, logistics consulting firm or global corporation
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or a similar discipline; Master's in Supply Chain Management & Logistics or MBA highly desirable
• Fluency in spoken and written English and the local language; multilingual (Spanish and Portuguese) highly desirable

Required skills

• Consultative sales experience in logistics with direct customer engagement
• Expertise in international transportation, warehousing, distribution, e-commerce and 4PL solutions
• Supply chain modelling and analysis, optimization methodologies and tools
• Project management, stakeholder management and public speaking
