Product Quality Manager, Food Prep

About the role

In this role you will lead product quality initiatives for new product introductions and life‑cycle management in the food‑prep appliance segment. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end quality process, from requirement definition through design release verification and post‑launch support.

Key responsibilities

• Drive requirement development, including user requirements, marketing briefs, CTQ definitions and dashboards.
• Steer robust and reliable design, ensuring capability, reliability and risk requirements are met.
• Lead and coach project teams on quality plans and tools such as DFSS and Six Sigma.
• Monitor predicted call rates (CREX) and field call rate (FCR) throughout project execution and capture lessons learned.
• Manage product safety, compliance, regulatory, sustainability and approval activities.
• Support life‑cycle management (AnE) for product extensions, new market launches and root‑cause resolution of sustaining issues.
• Lead cross‑functional and supplier workshops to collect defects, analyse data and implement continuous‑improvement actions.
• Facilitate and review FMEA, issue logs and risk assessments (HBSRA).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electronic, electrical or related engineering field.
• More than 5 years of experience in product quality, preferably in the domestic/kitchen appliance industry.
• Proven track record in international, multi‑disciplinary consumer product development projects.
• Strong analytical, data‑driven mindset with hands‑on problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills.
• Fluent English.

• Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and Six Sigma methodology.
• FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• Black Belt or Green Belt certification (preferred).
• HBSRA – safety risk assessment.
