Project Architect / Medical Planner (Hong Kong)

About the role

HOK is seeking a Project Architect / Medical Planner to join its Hong Kong office. The role focuses on delivering architectural and planning solutions for healthcare facilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients to create functional, sustainable environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical planning expertise across the firm’s healthcare practice.
• Communicate with clients and user groups to capture project requirements.
• Develop architectural drawings, including 2D and 3D presentations, to convey planning concepts.
• Assist in creating and reviewing medical planning concepts and solutions.
• Coordinate project milestone schedules with project managers, architects, and engineers.

Required profile

• Registered Architect (HKIA, AIA, RIBA, or PRC equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years of experience on healthcare projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural construction methods and building systems.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• US project experience preferred.
• LEED accreditation preferred; LEED AP or GA required within 12 months of hire.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• LEED AP or LEED GA certification.
