Project Engineer

About the role

The Project Engineer will support Carrier’s field teams by ensuring equipment, tools and products are correctly installed, repaired, and designed to meet customer needs. This role combines technical troubleshooting with product knowledge to deliver reliable climate and energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain effective communication with field team members to understand support requirements.
• Repair, install, or design equipment, tools, and products as needed.
• Develop and maintain broad product knowledge across Carrier’s portfolio.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and collaborate with repair technicians to resolve issues.
• Analyze and interpret test data to address design or system‑related problems.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent providing theoretical to advanced knowledge.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in engineering, equipment design, or field support.
• Practical familiarity with Carrier’s organization, programs, or systems and ability to enhance daily work processes.
