Project Manager – Retail Fixtures (APAC)

About the role

As a Project Manager you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of retail‑fixture projects across APAC, from the client brief through production, shipping, installation and invoicing. You will act as the main client contact, manage supplier relationships and coordinate internal teams to ensure on‑time, high‑quality, on‑budget outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Take client briefs, develop detailed specifications and manage the full project lifecycle including design, prototype, supplier selection, production tracking and hand‑over.
• Negotiate costings and lead times, produce quotations and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and certifications.
• Coordinate site surveys, verify fixture fit, and feed adjustments back to production.
• Manage sea and air freight from China to APAC markets, handling shipping documentation and customs requirements.
• Monitor quality through factory inspections and pre‑shipment QC, troubleshoot issues and implement preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate records in company tools and follow invoicing procedures.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders and provide technical advice on materials and construction.
• Agree and manage project budgets, analyse performance and identify new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project or account management within retail fixtures, store fit‑out or POS/display production.
• Hands‑on experience managing manufacturing suppliers in China, including factory visits and QC.
• Fluent English; Cantonese and Mandarin strongly preferred for supplier and market communication.
• Willingness to travel across the region for site surveys, factory visits and installations, occasionally outside normal hours.
• Strong commercial understanding and ability to build quotes and landed‑cost models.
• Professional, calm under pressure and confident advising clients.

Required skills

• Technical drawing interpretation and material knowledge (metal, wood, laminates, powder coat, plating).
• Sea and air freight logistics, Incoterms and customs clearance processes for APAC markets.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; experience with ERP or project management tools.
