Public Relations Officer

About the role

The Public Relations Officer will act as the primary liaison between the project and its external audiences, ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging communication. This role supports community outreach, media relations, and internal stakeholder coordination to promote project visibility and address public concerns.

Key responsibilities

• Handle public enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Prepare press releases, newsletters, brochures, fact sheets, and other project communications.
• Develop presentation materials and participate in public consultation forums.
• Organise and coordinate meetings, briefings, and presentations with District Councils, the general public, local organisations and other stakeholders.
• Manage updates to the project website and oversee content creation for public communication.
• Produce project‑related video and promotional materials.

Required profile

• Degree in Public Relations, Communication or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in public relations.
• Experience working with District Councils or community stakeholders is preferred.
• Strong command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Willingness to be based at the site office.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Ability to perform Chinese word processing.
