Quality Manager

About the role

The Quality Manager will lead the development and maintenance of quality management systems across product, manufacturing, customer, and supplier domains. This role ensures compliance with international safety standards and drives continuous improvement in a fast‑moving electronics consumer‑product environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and improve quality management systems and programs for product, manufacturing, customer, and supplier quality.
• Manage customer incident cases, fulfill audit requirements, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead assigned quality projects, drive problem‑solving processes, and present solution proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
• Align and track project deliverables, report progress, and prepare presentations for both internal teams and customers.
• Identify opportunities and gaps, conduct technical audits, inspections, and lab testing to achieve process excellence across multiple categories and countries.

Required profile

• 8+ years of quality assurance experience in a sizable electronics consumer‑product or electronic toys company, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic consumer products, factory production, and operational processes.
• Familiarity with international toy safety requirements (physical, chemical, electrical).
• Analytical, process‑oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate and prevent issues.
• Proven ability to collaborate with regional and headquarters teams to achieve results.
• Willingness to travel frequently to China factories (≈60%) and occasionally to a Penang plant.
