Assistant Quality Manager – Electronics Consumer Products

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Quality Manager to lead and support quality initiatives for electronic consumer products and electronic toys. The role involves ensuring product, manufacturing, customer, and supplier quality across multiple sites while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor quality management systems and programs for product, manufacturing, customer, and supplier quality.
• Manage customer incident cases, fulfill audit requirements, and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Lead assigned quality projects, drive problem‑solving processes, and present solution proposals.
• Align and track project deliverables, report progress, and prepare presentations for internal and customer stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities and gaps, conduct technical audits, inspections, and lab testing to achieve process excellence across categories and countries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of quality assurance experience in a sizable electronics consumer product or electronic toys environment.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic consumer products, factory production, and operation processes.
• Familiarity with international toy safety requirements (physical, chemical, electrical).
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a process‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel frequently to China factories (≈60%) and occasionally to the Penang plant.
