PM Engineer – Preventive Maintenance Lead

About the role

The PM Engineer leads the preventive maintenance (PM) program to ensure production equipment operates safely, efficiently, reliably and cost‑effectively. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to optimise SAP PM, implement digital maintenance processes and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program, including equipment performance reviews, RCA and RCM analyses.
• Plan and support major equipment overhauls, refurbishments and the rollout of Asset Care and Autonomous Maintenance programmes.
• Manage the SAP PM system and electronic work‑order processes, standardising maintenance execution.
• Coordinate daily, weekly, monthly and shutdown maintenance activities with stakeholders.
• Oversee work‑order documentation, SOPs, maintenance manuals and PM inspection standards.
• Participate in equipment upgrades, engineering projects and capital improvement initiatives from design to commissioning.
• Optimise spare‑parts management and procurement to support reliability while controlling inventory costs.
• Monitor maintenance performance, prepare monthly PM reports and assist in annual budget planning.
• Develop and deliver technical training for engineering and maintenance teams and ensure compliance with safety and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, equipment management or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and maintenance engineering principles.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and equipment management practices.
