Quantity Surveyor – Developer Background Required

About the role

The Scope Development Contracts Administration Team is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a developer background to support the end‑to‑end contract administration of design and construction projects worldwide. Based in Hong Kong, you will work closely with internal departments and external contractors to ensure contracts are prepared, tracked and closed out efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and delivering comprehensive design and construction contracts.
• Maintain electronic and hard‑copy filing systems for contracts and related documents.
• Enter and update data in internal contract management systems.
• Track, expedite and collate periodic reports, daily/weekly/monthly contractor submissions, and project registers (payments, changes, correspondence).
• Support the Commercial Manager during the bidding process, including issuing RFPs, analysing proposals and preparing bid analysis worksheets.
• Prepare meeting notes for pre‑award, progress and other project meetings.
• Facilitate onboarding and approval of new suppliers and assist with payment certificate analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Project Management, Cost Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 2 years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably within a developer environment.
• Strong understanding of construction procurement processes and commercial awareness.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to multitask across cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word).
• Strong spreadsheet skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Experience creating electronic presentations.
• Ability to use email and contract management systems effectively.
