Receptionist – Parade (Happy Valley Clubhouse)

About the role

The Parade restaurant at the Happy Valley Clubhouse is seeking a professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for members and their guests. You will manage phone enquiries, reservations and table allocations while ensuring a smooth and welcoming dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, handle reservations and confirm daily bookings in line with established procedures.
• Allocate tables using the Table Management System and service floor plan, respecting member preferences.
• Welcome members and guests, escort them to their assigned tables and introduce them to the serving staff.
• Assist dining‑room personnel with cleanliness, table clearing and facility inspections as needed.
• Monitor and respond to customer feedback, resolve complaints or direct them to the appropriate manager.
• Maintain accurate member records in the Table Management System and MCRM.
• Ensure the reception area remains clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
• Oversee menu preparation, printing and presentation for all meal periods.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant front‑desk or hospitality experience.
• Excellent people skills with a courteous and professional demeanor.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is an advantage.
• High grooming standards and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented attitude with willingness to support colleagues across the restaurant.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Table Management System.
• Experience using MCRM (Member Customer Relationship Management) software.
• Ability to manage menu printing and presentation.
