About the role

Robert Walters, a global award‑winning recruitment consultancy, is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to focus on the commerce finance & accounting market. You will act as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates, helping organisations find top talent while guiding professionals in their career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the finance, accounting and commerce sectors, understanding their hiring needs and business objectives.
• Source, screen and interview high‑calibre candidates and match them to suitable roles.
• Provide expert advice on market trends, salary benchmarks and career development opportunities.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial client engagement to successful placement.
• Expand your network within the finance industry to uncover new business opportunities.
• Achieve individual and team targets, contributing to the overall success of the desk.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for recruitment and a strong interest in finance and accounting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach.
• Resilience, determination and a results‑driven mindset.
• Previous experience in recruitment or sales is advantageous but not essential; transferable skills are welcome.
