Regional Financial Controller – Finance Operations Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Financial Controller to lead finance operations and strategic financial management across multiple Asian and European markets. You will work in a lean, high‑performing team, reporting directly to senior leadership and influencing key business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, month‑end close, and financial control activities for the region.
• Prepare board reports, management packs, and financial analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee audit, tax, regulatory and statutory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Maintain and enhance finance systems, reporting tools, and data‑governance processes.
• Drive process improvements to increase reporting accuracy, efficiency and scalability.
• Support treasury and cross‑border financing activities, including funding, capital allocation and cash management.
• Partner with regional teams to strengthen financial controls and reporting standards.
• Provide guidance to a small finance team while remaining hands‑on in day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with CPA qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and finance, covering operations, reporting, process improvement and business partnering.
• Experience in a lean, regional or entrepreneurial environment is advantageous.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable and collaborative.

Required skills

• CPA qualification.
