Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will lead daily operations of the semi‑buffet restaurant at Nina Hotel Kowloon East, ensuring efficient service, exceptional guest experiences and achievement of revenue and cost targets. The role works closely with culinary, sales, marketing and events teams to deliver seasonal promotions and private functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations including reservations, seating, guest flow, manpower planning and scheduling to maximise efficiency and capacity utilisation.
• Lead recruitment, coaching, training and performance management of the restaurant team, ensuring succession planning.
• Control food and beverage costs, payroll, inventory and other operating expenses to meet F&B KPIs and financial targets.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, handle feedback, service recovery and loyalty initiatives.
• Oversee semi‑buffet standards, maintaining presentation, replenishment, food quality, hygiene, safety and overall dining experience.
• Plan and execute seasonal promotions, themed dining programmes, private and corporate functions and hotel events in collaboration with relevant departments.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Hospitality, Hotel or Catering Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Food & Beverage management experience, preferably in hotels or upscale restaurants.
• Proven experience in restaurant operations and people leadership with strong coaching abilities.
• Fluent in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using restaurant operating systems.
