Retirement Consultant (MPF Background)

About the role

Marsh is seeking a Retirement Consultant to join its Wealth team in Hong Kong. The role is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the office, and focuses on pension and long‑term benefit consulting across Asian markets.

Key responsibilities

• Value liabilities related to pension and long‑term severance benefits under the Hong Kong pension regime and other Asian markets.
• Lead or support M&A due diligence, retirement benefit review, benchmarking projects, and ad‑hoc retirement initiatives.
• Provide technical and actuarial analysis to help corporate sponsors manage benefit schemes, balancing cost and coverage.
• Manage projects and client relationships, mentor junior team members, and contribute to new business development.
• Stay current with MPFA regulations and conduct research to shape local market views.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of experience in the retirement field, preferably with MPF market exposure.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, able to handle large data sets efficiently.
• Self‑motivated, able to plan tasks, estimate timelines, and work with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
