Sales Development Representative, SME & Growth

About the role

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system used by more than 675,000 businesses, is looking for a Business Development Representative for its SME & Growth team in Hong Kong. The role drives growth by developing leads that build the sales pipeline, qualifying prospects, running outreach campaigns and moving qualified leads toward product demonstrations.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with prospects, uncovering needs through effective questioning to qualify interest and viability
• Move qualified leads through the buyer journey with the goal of booking product demonstrations
• Run planned touch points such as cold calls, emails, chat and social media
• Present product information to customers once their needs are identified
• Work through lead lists, meet or exceed SLAs, keep the CRM up to date and support weekly reporting
• Test different outreach approaches and recommend strategies and best practices

Required profile

• Strong motivator and self-starter able to work in a hyper-growth environment
• Natural communicator with superior verbal and written communication skills
• Resilient, adaptable to changing market conditions and process-driven
• Team player who can also work independently
• Track record of top performance or prior success in an SDR-related role
• Fluency in English and Cantonese to support clients in Hong Kong
• Interest in technology and/or financial services
