Sales, Trading and Structuring Graduate Analyst 2027

About the role

Barclays is recruiting analysts for its Sales, Trading and Structuring Graduate Programme 2027 in Hong Kong. The role sits in the Markets division and supports senior colleagues in developing new products and services, identifying market opportunities and making informed decisions. After intensive initial training, graduates become sales analysts or trading analysts on a specific desk.

Key responsibilities

• Run small research projects and prepare presentations and reports to support strategic decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to implement research findings
• Develop business cases and help launch new products and services
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support, answering questions and processing transactions under steadily decreasing supervision
• Build and run financial models and strategies used in decision making
• As a sales analyst: analyse client needs, monitor markets, formulate trade ideas and attend client meetings
• As a trading analyst: generate trade ideas, help price products, assist with trade reporting and P&L analysis, and help manage trading book risk

Required profile

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with completion expected between December 2026 and June 2027
• Ideally a minimum GPA of 3.2
• Interest in business and finance, good work ethic and eagerness to learn technical skills
• Legal right to work in Hong Kong; applicants holding or needing a Barclays-sponsored visa must declare it
