Security Engineer

About the role

Susquehanna is looking for a Security Engineer to join its Hong Kong team. You will help protect the firm’s technology environment while supporting rapid growth, working across a range of security domains and collaborating with global security experts.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage authentication and privileged access controls.
• Harden endpoints, applications and infrastructure against threats.
• Deploy and tune threat‑prevention technologies.
• Define and maintain the cloud security posture for the organization.
• Participate in new implementations, upgrades and automation projects across the technology stack.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, project management and development teams to align security solutions with business needs.
• Assist with connectivity issues such as firewalls and proxies, and provide walk‑up support for security enquiries.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, global technology environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex security‑related problems.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
