Security Supervisor (Operations Planning and Logistics)

About the role

The Security Supervisor (Operations Planning and Logistics) supports the Corporate Security team of The Hong Kong Jockey Club. Reporting to the Assistant Security Manager, the role ensures smooth operational, logistical and administrative delivery for both race‑day and non‑race‑day activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead senior security officers and contract guards in setting up and dismantling crowd‑management and security measures for race meetings.
• Provide deployment support to Security Managers during race days, managing logistics, compliance checks and equipment placement across security posts.
• Oversee onboarding of new security personnel, including uniform issuance, locker allocation and Security Personnel Permit documentation.
• Process purchase requests, source suppliers and coordinate urgent procurement of consumables and operational equipment such as radios, traffic cones and barriers.
• Arrange maintenance and repair of security assets, maintain accurate stock records, conduct regular inventory checks and manage storage housekeeping.
• Administer key management for corporate security, maintain patrol route systems and resolve related issues with other departments.
• Perform general administrative duties and ad‑hoc projects as directed by line management.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in security operations, logistics or related fields.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate multi‑disciplinary tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for inventory and documentation control.
• Good communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
