Senior Accountant – Hong Kong

About the role

As a Senior Accountant you will perform financial consolidations, prepare financial statements, and support audits, forecasts, and budgets for the Group, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and managing tax filings while liaising with auditors, bankers, and group companies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial consolidations and prepare financial statements, reports, and accounting schedules.
• Coordinate with external auditors for interim and annual audits, ensure IFRS compliance, and handle tax filings and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, consolidate group budgets and forecasts, and provide operational analyses and management reports.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, and group companies, and support ad‑hoc assignments as required.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in financial consolidations, preferably in listed companies, MNCs, or sizable audit firms.
• Member of HKICPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting body.
• Solid knowledge of complex manual consolidations for multiple subsidiaries and proficiency in IFRS accounting standards.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively in English and Chinese.
