Senior AV Event Technician (L2)

About the role

Kinly, a leading AV and unified communications integrator, is seeking a Senior AV Event Technician (L2) to provide technical support for meeting rooms across the client’s estate. The role involves high‑visibility interaction with executive management and requires proactive maintenance of AV and VC environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide AV and VC set‑up and technical support across all meeting rooms and VC‑equipped rooms.
• Perform advanced fault finding, troubleshooting and L1/L2 incident management.
• Support Project Managers in delivering AV projects successfully.
• Assist the AVNOC with due‑diligence reporting, recommending upgrades and improvements.
• Carry out proactive health checks in accordance with SOPs.
• Deliver service continuity support, including restoration from power downs and business continuity exercises.
• Assist with software upgrades and video/audio conferencing problem resolution.
• Maintain all multimedia/presentation rooms in good working order and provide on‑site support during meetings.
• Handle IT‑related enquiries when needed and escalate issues appropriately.
• Advise clients on best practices and train new starters or freelancers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar AV/VC role with strong audio‑visual and video‑conferencing expertise.
• Broad capability with a variety of AV and VC systems.
• Confident and credible communicator.
• Fluency in both Cantonese and English.
