Senior Consultant – Professional Services

About the role

Proxima is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead complex workstreams within its Professional Services practice. You will work directly with senior client stakeholders, delivering strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier negotiation solutions while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and category management engagements for Professional Services and External Labor.
• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies across consulting, audit, tax, legal, and contingent labor services.
• Conduct supplier research, commercial analysis, and opportunity identification to drive client value.
• Manage complex commercial negotiations with Big 4 firms, consulting firms, legal providers, and staffing suppliers.
• Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and day‑to‑day client interactions.
• Coach and develop junior consultants and contribute to Proxima’s thought leadership.

Required profile

• Strong experience in consulting, procurement, supply‑chain or related analytical roles.
• Proven track record leading sourcing, category management or supplier‑strategy projects for Professional Services and External Labor.
• Deep understanding of commercial models used by Big 4, consulting, and staffing firms.
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments and delivering measurable outcomes.
