About the role

We are seeking an energetic Senior Cook to join Honjo, a contemporary Japanese restaurant in Sheung Wan. You will help set up the kitchen and support senior chefs during service, working across both hot and cold stations to deliver dishes to our high standards.

Key responsibilities

Set up work sections before service.
Prepare and assemble hot and cold dishes.
Support colleagues and senior chefs as needed.
Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness at all times.

Required profile

Genuine interest in cooking.
Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience.
Positive, teamwork‑oriented attitude.
Strong sense of responsibility.
Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
Embodies Honjo’s values: teamwork, kindness, commitment, positivity.

Required skills

Food preparation and plating.
Hot and cold dish assembly.
Kitchen equipment operation.
Compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
