Senior Finance Director, Greater China

About the role

The Senior Finance Director for Greater China partners directly with the Managing Director and leadership team to shape financial strategy across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. You will drive performance management, governance and growth initiatives for a diverse portfolio that includes retail, franchise and e‑commerce businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance advisor to the GC Managing Director, influencing commercial, pricing, investment and expansion decisions.
• Lead the Annual Financial Plan, Strategic Business Plan, budgeting and forecasting processes for the Greater China cluster.
• Conduct rigorous financial analysis of revenue, margin, operating expenses and working capital to support data‑driven decisions.
• Oversee Monthly Business Reviews and Sales & Operations Planning, translating performance into clear actions.
• Develop and evaluate business cases for capital investments, ensuring disciplined ROI and payback.
• Manage inventory planning, open‑to‑buy governance and alignment of commercial plans with financial forecasts.
• Lead cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital optimization and treasury activities to improve cash conversion.
• Ensure integrity of financial results and compliance with US GAAP, PRC GAAP and local statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience in a multi‑brand, multi‑channel environment.
• Strong commercial judgment and executive presence in fast‑paced, matrixed settings.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and partner across Commercial, Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, Digital and Supply Chain functions.
• Track record of driving sustainable revenue and EBIT growth while maintaining financial discipline.
