Senior Finance Manager – Finance Operations (HK)

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager will lead finance operations for OKX’s Hong Kong entities, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, and robust financial controls in a fast‑moving crypto environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations and end‑to‑end accounting for assigned entities, including transaction booking, payment and expense review, and cash monitoring.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, ensuring journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and reporting schedules are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare and review management accounts, statutory financial statements, group reporting packages and variance analyses in accordance with IFRS/HKFRS and group policies.
• Reconcile bank, exchange, wallet, digital‑asset, trading and inter‑company balances and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties on accounting and reporting matters, and handle statutory audits and tax reporting for assigned entities.
• Maintain effective financial controls, drive process improvements and automation, and support new business initiatives and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, or recognised professional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, audit or finance operations; experience in Big 4, financial services, fintech or digital assets preferred.
• Strong hands‑on experience in financial close, multi‑entity reporting, balance‑sheet reconciliations, statutory audits and management reporting.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS/HKFRS; experience with accounting for digital assets is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills with high ownership.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
