Senior Learning & Development Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Learning & Development Officer to partner with managers and department heads in Hong Kong. You will shape learning strategies, create training materials and deliver engaging sessions that support our people and safety initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with managers and division heads to discuss staffing, recruitment and qualification needs.
• Develop learning strategies and plans based on needs assessments.
• Design, develop and produce training materials such as workbooks, manuals, job aids and posters.
• Prepare, set up and break down training classes, and create interactive training in various formats.
• Conduct stand‑up training sessions for employee groups.
• Monitor departmental safety training and orientation compliance.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining and coaching employees.
• Follow company, safety and security policies, report incidents and maintain confidentiality.
• Provide professional guest service, support individuals with disabilities and ensure quality standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking and lifting objects up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Training material design and development.
• Interactive training creation.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to use standard computer applications.
