Senior Manager – Assurance Audit – Financial Services (Insurance) – Hong Kong

About the role

EY is looking for experienced financial‑services audit professionals to join its Assurance Financial Services Organization (FSO) in Hong Kong. The role focuses on delivering audit solutions to insurance groups, funds and banks while building strong relationships with key business decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with senior business leaders to communicate the value of EY’s audit services.
• Provide guidance and execute audit procedures on complex, specialized issues within insurance, life, general and retirement businesses.
• Support planning, execution and delivery of audit and assurance engagements, ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal FS Assurance teams and other service lines to share knowledge and leverage technology.
• Prepare reports and schedules for clients and stakeholders, keeping senior team members informed of progress.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
• Qualified CPA member (e.g., HKICPA, ACCA, CPAA, CICPA).
• Minimum 5 years of audit experience in a CPA firm or insurance industry.
• Strong project‑management capabilities and advanced written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Integrity, teamwork orientation and leadership potential.
