Senior Manager, Distribution Governance (Life Insurance)

About the role

Zurich is looking for a senior professional to lead and enhance its distribution governance framework for life insurance. The role partners with Life Distribution, Legal, Risk and Compliance to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions and to promote a customer‑centric, compliant sales culture across intermediaries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, policies and control standards for distribution.
• Collaborate with Life Distribution, Legal, Risk and Compliance to implement regulatory requirements.
• Provide governance advisory for business initiatives and strategic projects.
• Create dashboards and management reports to monitor distribution quality and risk indicators.
• Conduct control testing, quality‑assurance reviews and monitor remediation actions.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits and ensure inspection readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in insurance, preferably in distribution governance, compliance or risk management.
• Strong understanding of IFA and brokerage distribution models and regulatory expectations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with high integrity and sound judgment.
