Senior Manager, Strategy & Transformation

About the role

The Senior Manager, Strategy & Transformation supports the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer and the Director, Strategy and Transformation in executing Prudential Wealth's strategic and transformation agenda across the Group. The role coordinates strategic initiatives, monitors business and transformation performance and provides the analysis and management information needed for executive decision-making. It works across Wealth functions, Group stakeholders and Local Business Units, translating strategic priorities into detailed plans, tracking delivery and escalating risks.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of Wealth strategy, business planning, budgeting, ACR management and transformation roadmaps, and conduct market, competitor, customer and industry research.
• Analyse business performance, evaluate growth opportunities and prepare strategic papers and presentations for executives.
• Turn priorities into initiative plans, milestones and deliverables, and track progress, dependencies, risks and issues across Customer & Marketing, Finance, Actuarial, Risk and Compliance, Legal, LBUs and Group stakeholders.
• Maintain a consolidated portfolio view of initiatives, develop dashboards and reports, track benefits against business cases and support portfolio reviews and governance meetings.
• Support HNW and UHNW strategies, Bermuda insurance and reinsurance structures, and the coordination of the Group Wealth strategy across Hong Kong, Singapore and participating LBUs.
• Provide data-driven insights, scenario analysis and quantification of initiative benefits, and improve reporting through analytics and automation.
• Support governance of strategic and transformation initiatives, ensure compliance with planning and reporting requirements, and promote consistent project and portfolio management practices.
• Coordinate stakeholder inputs, prepare updates for Group, Executive Committee and Board forums, run workshops and support staff communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science or a related discipline.
• 7-10 years of experience in strategy, transformation, project management, consulting, finance or business performance.
• Experience in insurance, reinsurance, wealth management or financial services preferred.
• Demonstrated experience supporting cross-functional strategic or transformation initiatives.
• Preferred: experience in HNW, offshore insurance, international distribution or related Wealth businesses, and understanding of life insurance products and operating models.

Required skills

• Experience developing management reports, dashboards and executive presentations.
• Business-case development, benefits tracking or portfolio management.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; Power BI, Tableau, SQL or Python is advantageous.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, actuarial qualification or PMP are preferred.
