Senior Pricing Actuarial Manager (Life Insurance)

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical senior manager to lead product pricing initiatives for life insurance solutions. The role combines deep actuarial expertise with leadership to develop competitive, sustainable products and influence key stakeholders across local, regional and group levels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end pricing development for savings and protection life insurance products, including participating, universal life, investment‑linked, term and critical illness policies.
• Build and maintain pricing models using actuarial assumptions (mortality, morbidity, lapse, expenses, investment returns) and perform sensitivity and scenario testing.
• Prepare pricing reports for product approval, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement products and monitor ongoing profitability and sustainability.

Required profile

• University degree in Actuarial Science or a related discipline with over 10 years of relevant experience.
• Fellowship of a recognised actuarial body (e.g., SOA, IFoA, FIAA, HKIA).
• Strong knowledge of life actuarial techniques, tools and regulatory frameworks such as HKRBC and IFRS 17.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Advanced VBA programming.
• Experience with actuarial modelling software such as Prophet.
