Senior Sales Manager, Event Booking Center

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead our Event Booking Center, focusing on local social catering opportunities for our hotel. The role combines revenue generation, team supervision, and brand strategy implementation to deliver exceptional event experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and secure local catering and social event business to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Provide day‑to‑day supervision to on‑property catering sales associates, adjusting resources based on business volume.
• Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure timely hand‑over to operations for flawless service delivery.
• Upsell packages, creative food‑and‑beverage offerings, and promote brand initiatives to maximize profit.
• Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and promotional plans, reporting performance to senior management.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer expectations to adapt sales strategies.
• Support the execution of customer service and brand standards throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or a related field, or
• A 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related discipline (no experience required).
• Proven ability to lead a team, manage budgets, and drive revenue growth in a hospitality environment.
