Senior US Tax Accountant – International Tax & Transaction Services (Hong Kong)

About the role

As a US Tax Senior within EY's Global US Tax Centre of Excellence, you will join an integrated global network of tax advisors serving multinational clients. You will work on complex US tax compliance and advisory engagements, building strong client relationships and contributing to the development of innovative tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide US Federal and state corporation and/or partnership income tax compliance and advisory services.
• Identify and address complex US domestic and international income tax issues for clients.
• Build and maintain client relationships, understand their business and develop budgets and resource plans.
• Guide and develop junior tax professionals, providing performance feedback and ensuring appropriate task allocation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with tax trends and apply technical knowledge to moderately complex situations.

Required profile

• US accounting degree, Master of Tax, or LLM in Taxation.
• Recent graduate or up to one year of experience in US Federal and state corporation or partnership tax advisory and compliance.
• Basic knowledge of US corporation and partnership income tax concepts.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
