Senior/Staff Tax Advisor – Private Client Services (Hong Kong)

About the role

EY’s Private Client Services practice is seeking a Senior or Staff Tax Advisor to provide domestic and cross‑border tax planning and compliance for business‑connected individuals and their entities in Hong Kong. You will work with high‑net‑worth clients, delivering practical tax solutions that align with their financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory services, including compliance, planning, and advice for business interests and investments.
• Analyze client information thoroughly and develop practical, high‑quality recommendations.
• Stay current on tax trends, regulations, and technical authorities, applying them to moderately complex cases.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with client personnel.
• Utilize EY methodologies and tools to enhance service delivery and team success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field (advanced tax or law degree desirable).
• Minimum 2 years of corporate tax, financial accounting, or relevant experience.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CFA.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin; written Chinese required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
