Sourcing Manager

About the role

Nex is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead upstream sourcing strategy and execution for critical integrated circuits, memory and camera modules, ensuring cost competitiveness, supply continuity and resilience as the company scales its Playground hardware globally.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships for assigned commodities, drive pricing strategy, negotiations and secure commercial terms.
• Establish forecasting cadence with internal stakeholders and suppliers, translating demand signals into supply plans and aligning lead times, MOQs and allocation strategies.
• Develop and maintain an Approved Vendor List, execute dual‑sourcing qualification, assess risks and implement mitigation plans for supply, capacity, geopolitical and quality issues.
• Shape commodity strategy for core technologies (SoC, camera, memory), collaborate with engineering and quality on supplier capability assessments and roadmap alignment.
• Secure priority allocation during shortages, manage lead times and supply ramps, and track supplier KPIs to drive continuous cost and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business (Master’s preferred).
• 5–10 years of sourcing or supplier management experience in consumer electronics or hardware, with specific experience in IC, memory or SoC components.
• Proven track record in commercial negotiation, cost analysis and multi‑sourcing strategies.
• Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with engineering and operations in fast‑paced environments.
