Sourcing Manager – Packaging & Paper

About the role

The Global Supply Chain team at Hasbro manages a $1.3 billion spend and is responsible for delivering toys and games worldwide. As the Sourcing Manager for Packaging & Paper, you will define and execute the directed‑material sourcing strategy, build a world‑class supplier network and drive cost, risk and sustainability initiatives for a $150 million spend.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an ambitious roadmap to leverage scale, mitigate supply risks, localize production and foster innovation in packaging and paper.
• Deliver 3‑5 % year‑on‑year sourcing productivity while ensuring zero supply risk through volume consolidation, low‑cost country sourcing and value‑engineering initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional teams—including Global Supply Chain, Product Development, Quality Assurance and Marketing—to align on strategy and drive collaborative execution.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, conduct business reviews and hold suppliers accountable for performance, quality and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to Hasbro and local regulations, as well as sustainability standards across the supplier base.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of global procurement experience with exposure to resin, electronic components or apparel industries.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders, drive cost‑saving initiatives and manage a multi‑million‑dollar spend.
• Strong negotiation skills, high energy, and willingness to travel up to 30 % of the time.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
