Sourcing Manager – Sweater Category

About the role

Quince is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead the sweater category. You will be responsible for identifying, vetting, and onboarding new vendors while ensuring high quality, cost efficiency, speed, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and identify suitable suppliers for the sweater line.
• Find, vet, pitch, sign, and onboard vendors that meet quality, cost, and reliability criteria.
• Define clear test‑period criteria and evaluate vendor scalability.
• Manage supplier relationships through onboarding training, weekly and monthly performance reviews (WBR/MBR).
• Drive operational excellence for existing partners and expand the supply base.
• Collaborate with merchants, procurement, and vendors to optimize pricing and achieve margin targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supplier identification, onboarding, and relationship management.
• Strong analytical mindset to assess cost, quality, and scalability.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with merchandising and procurement teams.
• Focus on driving continuous improvement in vendor performance and product costs.
