Summer Internship 2027 - Global Operations

About the role

MUFG Bank, Hong Kong Branch is offering a Summer Internship Programme 2027 in its Global Operations stream. Interns gain hands-on exposure to the processes and systems supporting the bank's day-to-day activities, working alongside Operations colleagues on service delivery, process improvement, data analysis and operational controls. Applications close on 31 October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operational activities and assist with process documentation, reporting and data-quality checks.
• Analyse workflow information and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and service delivery.
• Assist with process mapping, testing, issue tracking and project coordination for operational initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Operations, business, technology and control functions.

Required profile

• Penultimate-year student from a reputable university with strong academic results.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, with a genuine interest in banking operations, technology, digitalisation and process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership and a can-do attitude.
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese is essential; fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of data analysis, process improvement or technical tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL or VBA is an advantage.
