System Administrator – Global Investment Firm

About the role

The position sits within a globally distributed technology organization of a $17 billion investment firm. You will work independently while collaborating with colleagues across multiple regions to keep critical infrastructure stable and users satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality desktop and end‑user support for Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
• Build, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, peripherals and multi‑monitor setups.
• Administer user accounts and permissions via Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Support mobile devices and endpoint management tools such as Intune, SCCM or Jamf.
• Maintain physical network infrastructure (IDF/MDF, cabling, labeling, rack organization) and perform first‑line network troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with global technology teams, vendors, telecom providers and building management.
• Assist with onboarding, office technology projects, equipment refresh cycles and business continuity initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in desktop support, infrastructure support or system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Entra ID and endpoint management tools.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, structured cabling).
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work under pressure.
