Technical Executive (Hardlines - Physical)

About the role

SGS, a global testing, inspection and certification company, is hiring a Technical Executive (Hardlines - Physical) in Fanling. The role mainly reviews and prepares test results and reports generated in the laboratory, and provides technical advice to internal and external parties.

Key responsibilities

• Review and prepare test results and reports generated in the laboratory
• Analyse test results from laboratory testing activities
• Identify prospective compliance issues or data inconsistencies
• Provide technical advice and responses to internal and external parties
• Ensure compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties and tasks as required

Required profile

• Higher Diploma in Physics, Engineering, Testing Science or an equivalent discipline
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in physical testing; QA experience in toys, cookware, eyewear or furniture is an advantage
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Mature, proactive and presentable
• Analytical, detail-oriented, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Physical testing and laboratory reporting
