About the role
The Telemarketing Executive will be responsible for promoting a range of general insurance products to prospective customers. This is a one‑year fixed‑term position focused on generating leads and driving sales through outbound telephone campaigns.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to promote and sell general insurance policies.
- Identify customer needs and match them with appropriate insurance solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, prospects, and sales outcomes in the company’s system.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets set by management.
- Provide clear information about policy terms, benefits, and pricing.
Required profile
- Form 5 graduate with a valid IIQE Paper 1 & 2 license for selling general insurance.
- 1–2 years of telemarketing experience, preferably within the insurance sector.
- Strong telephone etiquette, service‑oriented attitude, and persuasive communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using telemarketing scripts and call‑handling techniques.
- Ability to navigate basic insurance sales software (no specific platforms mentioned).
