Tenure-Track Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor in Accounting

About the role

The Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Hong Kong is seeking multiple tenure‑track academics at the Assistant, Associate and Professor levels in Accounting. Appointments commence on 1 July 2027 on a three‑year fixed‑term basis with the possibility of renewal and progression to tenure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate, master’s and MBA teaching in accounting.
• Develop and maintain an active research programme leading to internationally recognised publications.
• Provide academic service through curriculum development, student supervision and faculty committees.
• Engage with the broader academic community and contribute to the university’s outreach activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Accounting or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, particularly at the master’s or MBA level.
• Strong record of scholarly output; for senior appointments, evidence of internationally recognised research.
• Commitment to high‑quality research, teaching and service.
