Utility Architect

About the role

The Utility Architect will drive the design and delivery of digital platform solutions that support Infosys’ decarbonisation and digitalisation objectives for utility clients. The role focuses on modernising legacy integration layers and enabling end‑to‑end “meter‑to‑cash” processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement digital platform strategies aligned with organisational decarbonisation and digitalisation goals.
• Lead technical design of the Oracle ecosystem, including WACS (Enterprise Asset Management) and CCS Billing, as well as AMI/AMR smart‑metering platforms.
• Design integration architecture for strategic platforms (Oracle, Azure Data Platform, AMI/AMR) and transition legacy integrations to API‑driven and event‑driven models.
• Manage an integrated architecture portfolio, prioritise project scope, and coordinate inter‑dependencies and road‑maps.
• Conduct solution assessments, evaluate alternatives and present recommendations to business and digital stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business units, digital teams and other departments to shape solution scope and influence key design decisions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading technical architecture for Oracle‑based utility solutions.
• Strong background in integration architecture, API design and event‑driven systems.
• Ability to manage complex project portfolios and drive cross‑functional alignment.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
