Vice President – Client Services Account Manager (Japanese)

About the role

The Vice President in Client Services Account Management will lead a portfolio of Securities Services custody and fund services clients, ensuring their satisfaction with J.P. Morgan’s products and solutions. This senior position requires proactive relationship building, issue resolution, and strategic advisory to key Japanese‑speaking clients.

Key responsibilities

• Understand clients’ business needs and roadmaps to develop long‑term partnerships.
• Own end‑to‑end service delivery across Securities Services, coordinating with internal teams.
• Drive resolution of client queries, data/reporting collation, and delivery issues.
• Partner with Product Management and Development to provide thought‑leadership and tailored solutions.
• Maintain client profiles, service‑level documents, and conduct periodic relationship reviews.
• Lead in‑person client meetings, governance sessions, and product/system updates.
• Monitor and manage monthly and annual billing accuracy.
• Coordinate client training on proprietary J.P. Morgan technology.
• Oversee service delivery for iMOS, Custody, Cash, FX, Liquidity, Fund Services, and Trading Services.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in financial services, specifically securities servicing.
• Proven senior experience in client service, implementation, project management, product development, or operations.
• Fluent in Japanese and English.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
