Vice President, Debt Capital Markets

About the role

The Vice President will lead the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) origination and execution activities within the Fixed Income Department. Reporting to the head of DCM, the role involves client relationship management, credit analysis, and coordination of bond issuance processes across Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and execute DCM transactions, including credit analysis and documentation.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, providing advice and solutions on financial products and DCM investments.
• Coordinate bond issuance matters with issuers, lawyers, auditors, trustees and other professional parties.
• Manage post‑investment follow‑up and other DCM initiatives.
• Prepare internal project approvals to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Support the team head with ad‑hoc DCM‑related tasks and projects.

Required profile

• Degree in finance, economics, accounting or law and qualified under SFO for Regulated Activities Type 1 & 4.
• Minimum 5 years of DCM execution experience.
• CPA qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong and PRC capital market rules and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
