About the role
Nan Fung Group, founded in 1954, is looking for an experienced professional to lead its US investment efforts. The role acts as the main interface between the US platform and Hong Kong headquarters, overseeing the US real estate platform across the full investment lifecycle and driving AI integration and workflow improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Support and coordinate the US real estate platform across asset management, leasing strategy, development management, capital expenditure planning and property performance, working closely with the on-the-ground US team.
- Guide the US team on leasing strategy and tenant positioning, focusing on new economy occupiers such as life science, lab, AI and technology tenants, using data analytics and market intelligence.
- Support business plan reviews, hold/sell analysis and value-enhancement initiatives, and recommend refinancings or divestments.
- Oversee property and departmental budgets, contracts and financial controls together with the US team.
- Drive AI integration and workflow re-engineering across the platform.
- Act as the primary link to Hong Kong headquarters, aligning investment strategy and portfolio priorities, and prepare regular portfolio-level reports for senior management.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across the organisation and foster collaboration between Hong Kong and overseas teams.
- Support selective deal execution (disposals, financing), coordinate due diligence, contribute to underwriting and financial modelling, and research US market trends and policy developments.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management or a closely related field in an institutional environment.
- Demonstrated experience across the investment lifecycle, including underwriting, asset management, leasing and transactions.
- International investment experience preferred; prior exposure to US commercial real estate is an advantage.
- Familiarity with life science, lab or innovation-district real estate products is highly valued.
- Proven experience engaging with and presenting to senior stakeholders, and experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
Required skills
- Exceptional financial modelling skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Strong written and verbal English; Cantonese is advantageous.
- Analytical, commercial and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams autonomously.
- Personal engagement with AI developments and willingness to integrate emerging tools into investment and asset management practice.
